SGT-NAVIGATOR T W WATERS KILLED IN ACTION

Notification has been received that Sgt-Navigator Thomas Wm Waters RAF, has been killed in action. Sergt Nav Waters, who was 27, was the only son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Waters of 20 Sandileigh, Hoole. In civilian life he was an inspector in the Post Office Engineering Dept. in Swansea. He was educated at the City Grammar School, matriculating at 15. He was a keen supporter of Chester Football Club and took a keen interest in all kinds of sport. Sergt Nav Waters joined the RAF in 1940. He was married, and his wife Mrs Barbara Waters, and his parents appreciate the many kind expressions of sympathy they have received.”
