The death occurred on 8th May, as a result of a road accident, of Sgt William Leslie Stott, of 35 Francis Street, Chester. Aged 35, he formerly served with the peacetime RAF and was on the Reserve when war broke out.He was the son of Mrs and the late Mr Stott of Blackburn. The funeral took place on Monday. Requiem Mass was celebrated at St Werburgh’s Roman Catholic Church, Father Smith RAF officiating.
