HOOLE SOLDIER’S DEATH IN NORTH AFRICA

We regret to announce the death, while on active service in North Africa, of Gdsm Trevor Reddington, of the Grenadier Guards, aged 23, only son of Mr and Mrs Reddington, of 12 Lime Grove, Hoole. Before joining the Army Gdsm Reddington worked at the Northgate Brewery, where he made many friends. He was evacuated from Dunkirk. His brother-in-law, Fus Hardwick, RNF, lost his life in a driving accident in this country about 12 months ago. Gdsm Reddington was well-known in Hoole, and was a member of All Saints Church, and a pupil of All Saints School. He has five sisters.
