CHESTER OFFICER’S DEATH
“Mr and Mrs W Paul of Hoole House, Chester, have been informed of the death of their only son, Second Lieutenant William Edward David Paul, RWF aged 24. He was steering in a boat when it capsized during a squall and neither he nor his companion has been seen since. He was a grandson of Mr Alfred Tyrer, the Liverpool solicitor, who lives at Chester, and after being educated at Winchester and Trinity College, Cambridge, was articled two years ago to the firm of Messrs Tyrer, Kenyon and Tyrer, of Liverpool.”
